The following is an example of what could happen if
tenant screening is ignored:
An elderly couple approach you looking to rent a
property. They appear friendly and respectable. They
explain that they have recently retired and moved to
the area.
They provide suitable I.D., references, deposits,
sign the tenancy agreement and move in.
A month later you receive a call from the owner to
